Was up all, long time no word but I’m back with another cool app to share with you guys… Oh ya, it’s time to get your dock on! I’ve been a Windows user for a little over 10 years now and until OSX I was never jealous of what the other side had to offer. I loved OSX’s UNIXish style, cool terminal functionality almost made me feel right at home after spending a few years in the Linux world. Unfortunately my line of work forces me to continue focusing my attention on the Windows word but at least were one step closer to some of the coolness of OSX.
The dock was by far the nicest looking feature of OSX, us windows users can now have a dock of our own. Click here to download your own copy of Object Dock. It’s a cool little app that feels very a la OSX. It comes with multiple skins as well so you can make it fit your desktop and your personality. Most of all it works, it works well. I’ve tried other apps like this in the past and they were always unstable system resource hogs but after about 3 weeks of running object dock on two of my systems I can now say with confidence that it’s easily the best Mac style dock in the Windows world.
